"As another Christmas came and went, I was feeling like not much was gained from my holiday experiences. Considering that this was the season that I most looked forward to every year, I was disappointed. "Numb", is how I described it in the book through Max, the main character. It is such a magical time of year, yet, there I was, feeling nothing. So, like Seanna did in the story, I too wrote something to give to others. I started writing Christmas Notes for my children in hopes of saving them from feeling the same holiday numbness when they grow up. As I wrote it, the story just came alive for me. I fell in love with Seanna, and patterned her after my own children. I added my own personal touch with Max. The beautiful Jenny is my beautiful wife, no embellishment needed. I did not however use my in-laws as an example for those in the book. My in-laws are the best.
Most of the scenes from this book were written on cut up 2X4's and ripped up cardboard, with a construction pencil, because that is all I had when inspiration came on the job-sites. I finished the rough draft in just one month. After my wife (who reads ten, or so novels, a month) proofread the story, she heavily encouraged me to submit it to some publishing companies, which I did. Here I am thanks to her. If it were not for her words of encouragement, none of this would have ever happened. This first book, Christmas Notes, comes with the message that if we open our hearts to others, listen for the messages life brings us, then we will come to know what truly
is important in life; love, family, and faith in knowing that no matter what life brings us, there is light and hope to guide us through it.
I hope you will find inspiration in this book and feel the true magic of Christmas. Give the gift of Christmas Notes to somebody you know who could use a little magic in their lives, and relive the joy every time you read it. "Christmas Notes" is book one in a three book series. Stay tuned for Clint's other books by one or all of the social networks."

About the Author
Clint first gained his love for writing in a high school English class. He chose not to pursue writing as a career due to his difficulty with spelling. Instead, he went to college to study psychology, primarily business psychology, trying to figure out how to tap into the emotions of man. Clint has a slight case of dyslexia, which affects his spelling. Thank goodness for spell check! Some told him that this disability would be a hindrance to him throughout his life. He strives harder every day to prove them wrong. Like other dyslexic people, who have strengths that help them compensate for their disability, he has a unique ability to create and to touch people's lives.
Since he decided not to share his writings, he chose instead to focus on business and to speak to the public whenever possible. He enjoys speaking in front of groups and releasing some of that creativeness that is hiding inside. He has had many opportunities to do this with his church and in business settings.
Clint has a passion for business, which also lets him unleash some of his creativity. He has started several businesses during his life, most of which are still successful today. Clint is still very active in his plumbing company. Yes, that is right. He is a plumber and he loves doing his job......well most days.
So why publish now? Well, Clint is always looking for ways to prove the unexpected and was ready for a new challenge. There are not very many people who would ever believe that Clint could write, let alone get something published, including his extended family who are all still in shock. This is actually his first time submitting a manuscript and three different publishers accepted it before he signed on with American Book Publishers. He is very excited to combine three of his passions: business, speaking, and especially writing.
