How Pacific Book Review Works
1. Simply request one of our book
review packages by clicking on the “Buy Now” button below on the "Submit Your Book" page. After payment is completed you will be
redirected to click on “Return to Pacific Communication Group” to fill out the
Book Questionnaire Form. If you have a
manuscript you would like reviewed and obtain an endorsement on the back of
your book, you must use the Express Review Service, Premium, or Ultimate
Review Service.
2. You’ll send one copy of your
published book or completed manuscript to the Pacific Book Review office in
California. Pacific Book Review: Attn: Nicole Sorkin 642 Riviera Circle,
Nipomo, CA 93444. Pacific Book Review reviews published books, manuscripts, eBooks,
ARC's, audio CD's, and DVD's.
3. Upon receipt of your book or
manuscript, our editor will assign your project to a qualified reviewer, who
will read the complete book and write a full review (approximately 400-600
words). Our reviewers include librarians, business executives, and journalists
from national publications, PhDs in religion and literature, creative
executives in entertainment and publishing industries, and other professional
reviewers.
4. Once your review is completed
Pacific Book Review will send you the tear sheet of the review and a link to
Pacific Book Review, at which point you can use it however you choose - on the
back cover of your book, in marketing materials, on your website, or in a
letter to an agent or publisher. When
your review is on Pacific Book Review it is discovered by industry influencers,
agents, publishers, and consumers (unless it's a negative review, at which
point you can request that it be removed from Pacific Book Review.)

Terms and Conditions
1. Reviews. Pacific
Book Review will provide an objective review of your book ("Review")
directly to you via e-mail. The Review will be approximately 400-600
words in length, and will be completed within 2 weeks for Express Reviews,
Premium reviews, Ultimate reviews. 7-9 weeks for Standard Reviews from
the date your book is received by Pacific Book Review (not the date of
payment).
2. Ownership. Upon the
receipt of your Review you will receive a PDF file “Tear Sheet” and we thus
assign to you all rights, title and interest (including, but not limited to,
all copyrights and any other intellectual property or proprietary rights) in
the content of such Review, excluding any right to any Pacific Book Review
trademark or logo included in the Review. Absolutely no material
alteration of the review content is permitted, excluding generally accepted
grammatical editing for size restraints or clarity of expressions. Any
addition of any word or change “foreign to the original content” will result in
the removal of the review from Pacific Book Review’s website and Internet
postings.
3. Use Restrictions You
may reproduce your Review partially or in its entirety, provided for each use
of the Review, you include a credit that states “Pacific Book Review” or www.pacificbookreview.com with
or without, at the customer’s discretion, the name of the author writing for
Pacific Book Review.
4. Unfavorable Reviews;
Disputes. It is understood the Review will be objective but may be
unfavorable. Second reviews will not be performed. Any
errors such as typos or grammar will be corrected and the revised review will
be published, however no changes to content will be made unless at the sole
discretion of the reviewer. Reviewers cannot be chosen, nor will
inquiries or requests regarding the reviewer's age, gender, race, religion or
professional background be accepted.
5. Non-refundable. After
you agree to submit your book to Pacific Book Review, the fees paid for the
Review are non-refundable, even if your Review is unfavorable and/or you no
longer wish to use it. You may request the review be removed from
Pacific Book Review’s website and we shall accommodate your
request. All best efforts will be made to further delete any
Internet postings. Pacific Book Review is not responsible for links
that may have changed or have been discontinued after the date of publishing
the review. Future links or special requests are at the discretion of
Pacific Book Review and may incur additional charges.
6. Time Online of
Published Review. All reviews will remain online for a period of
time not less than one year from the date of publishing and generally longer on
an unconditional understanding which exists to continue building the history of
content for the website. Books no longer available through Amazon,
for example, will be removed once determined they are out of circulation.
