Review
In Tucker Spolter's A Work of Art, Tucker weaves a fabric of suspense, comedy, extraordinary characters and fantastic events all with the backdrop of San Francisco of recent past.  His recount of detail about the city by the bay along with its history reads like a nostalgic period piece, offering glimpses of San Francisco only life long inhabitants could have experienced.  The twists and turns of the main character play out like an ideal novel for screenplay adaptation, allowing the reader's visualization to savor the sights, sounds, and even flavors of SF.  Once a few pages are read, the book will grip you and cause you to go to the next page to see what happens, commanding a spell of intoxicating situations provoking your credibility of thought.
