Today we are talking with author Suzanne Eglington  of “She’s Got the Jack.”

PBR:  Do you have a favorite adult fiction author?

Yes I have several Jane Austen, Stephanie Myers, Carrie Bebris to name a few.

PBR:  What motivated you to write the Kate and Robert Chronicles?

The story just hit me, there really was not any motivation per say. I was going through a divorce at the time and this story let me think less of what was happening in my life and creating the life into my characters that I hope would leave a lasting impression to my fans.

PBR:  Kate and Robert are such intriguing characters, is either character fashioned after anyone you know in real life?

All my characters are based from my imagination. There is no one I know like any of them. I would be up at nights writing and laughing into my computer with the stuff that was coming from my imaginary world which by the way is a lot more exciting than my real life.

PBR:  The sex scenes in the book are very graphic, excuse the pun, but how hard was it to put these scenes in writing?

Surprisingly not as difficult as you may think.. I did research on the things I did not know and with a lot of inspiration from doctor Ruth in the 1980s and a lot of passion in my sole it was a winning combination.

PBR:  Writing for publication can be a difficult undertaking, what was the most difficult aspect of writing the books in this series?

The publishing industry. This whole amazing journey just keeps getting better and better.

PBR:  How many books do you plan on including in the series?

There are a total of 6 books in the Kate and Robert Chronicles and I will end it at that. I might however write some spin off books for particular favorite characters.. I have already been approached to write more on Ian Miller and a book about Jimmy and Robert in their college days before Robert met Kate.

PBR:  Without revealing too much, what is in the future for loving couple Kate and Robert?

With this forth book released, She’s Got The Jack , I am cooking a huge ending pulling it all together. Book 5 that I am currently finalizing to submit to editing is called How to train a bullet : The Kate and Robert Chronicles This should be available March 2017.

PBR:  What aspect of writing the books in the series is your favorite part and why?

My favorite part hands down is my growing fan base. Because once your book is made available to the public it’s really is not yours anymore. Everyone has an opinion on your story and I am thrilled to bits that I am receiving an amazing amount of love and attention for The Kate and Robert Chronicles and fans wanting more.

PBR:  What is your best advice to others like yourself looking to become published authors?

If you want this you have to put the time and patience into it and do your research.

PBR:  Do you have anything in the works in the future beside the Kate and Robert Chronicle series?

Yes there are several books in the works. I am currently working on a Fantasy/ sci fi geared towards YA and up.
