Synopsis

A young doctor from India migrates to the United States to pursue the American Dream. He finds the life in America much different than what he had experienced from the rest of the world. He meets a young medical student, and she becomes his guru to live the American life. She turns him from a nerd into a smartass doctor. They get closer. There arises a dire situation that forces him to do something that he has not been able to: to open his heart and tell her what is in his mind.

About the Author

After visiting US for the first time, author wrote an email to friends and family about his experiences which they thoroughly enjoyed. This inspired the author to pen this book! While pursuing the American Dream, the author went through many interesting experiences. Some of the incidents in the book were experienced by the author and his friends, the rest are purely fictional. Those born and brought up in USA don’t experience America, the way someone fresh off the boat does. The author portrays America through the eyes of an immigrant, an alien, indulging, at times, in satire.
