Why believe? The author comprehensively answers this question in the first chapter and embellishes his reasoning in his book titled Believe, Believe, Believe.

James Henry Lincoln Sr. states that if you place yourself before God, ask to be made righteous, and confess you will be saved. You should believe because by doing so you invite God to your life. By believing, you commence your journey to righteousness. You will live an honest life and see things clearly if you choose to believe. You will also see how wrong you have been in the past. One thing that Christianity teaches is that asking for forgiveness and correcting your mistakes is important. By believing, you will be in a better position with Jesus Christ, who is the only true savior. Believing will keep the devil away as God’s love will be sufficient for you.

James Henry Lincoln Sr. writes about the Christian faith and how being a believer will impact your life. I like the author’s format when writing. His style allows the reader to pause and think about the topics he has discussed. Believing comes with the freedom to enter God’s kingdom. The author highlights all the good things that happen to those who believe. The gospel in the Bible is what guides the Christian life. The author excellently explains why the word of God should be essential to everyone. He inserts a few Bible scriptures in between the paragraphs too, giving one good reference points. The author also writes that to be a real believer, you have to believe the whole truth. This is perhaps an answer to those who believed half or three-quarters of the word of God. The author, insisting that to believe you must believe all the truth, helped cleared some questions on which a true Christian is.

‘Fellowship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit’ was an important chapter in the book. The author expounds on the holy trinity, and why God is known as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. James Henry Lincoln Sr. clearly writes how the three are linked to one God. This book was thought provoking as the discussions were eye opening and valuable to every Christian who had doubts about believing, or wanted to strengthen their faith. The sentence structures were simple too, making the comprehension of the religious terms easy.

Believe, Believe, Believe is educative and is a book every reader that is into religious publications should read. The chapters were short and the lessons plenty. Other than worshiping God and asking him to guide us, the author reminded everyone to be thankful. Being thankful is among the best virtues a Christian can have. The lesson is that we should not only be thankful to God for his blessings but also thank those we live with. Love and respect should be part of every Christian’s life. I recommend this book to readers who enjoy reading about Christianity and everyone who wants to strengthen their faith.
