About the Author

About the Author: Alfonso Grambone and his wife, Michelle, combined his passion for drawing with her love of writing to create a story inspired by childhood memories and man’s best friend. Al studied graphic design at Joe Kubert School of Art in Dover, New Jersey, and works as a paraprofessional and an at-home therapist. Michelle received a bachelor of arts in journalism from Rider University and has chosen a career in retail. Their biggest influence for writing Grove Dogs came from their bulldog, Harley, who joined the Grambone family in 2011. Harley was later joined by a German shepherd the couple adopted in 2016.
