Yvon Milien was born in Haiti and currently works as a teacher. He earned two bachelor’s degrees and master’s degrees in sociology from Brigham Young University, in international relations from Syracuse University, in public administration from Syracuse University, and an education from the City University of New York. His debut memoir was “The Rhythm Of My Life”. Milien now lives in New York and New Jersey.
Author Yvon Milien has faced delays, denials, frustrations, isolation, failure, betrayals, affronts from friends, and the premature loss of loved ones many times. His experiences were a mix of the sad and the tragic, and he needed to develop values to survive and support himself. Providence persuaded him to see that sharing his story as a vehicle to inspire others and help them make their lives an adventure rather than a sentence.
