An Army of Noses is a delightful mystery read that I truly enjoyed, it is realistically human and humane. Author Lewitas is an impeccable storyteller with a knack for portraying insights about human and animal nature told from the intelligent perspective of Spunky. Her keen canine observations, wit, independence, and sense of smell, lead to some humorous, and intriguing situations adds to the story’s appeal. Moreover, this is an absorbing mystery, which piques the curiosity while building suspense that keeps the reader interested until the end. The characters are lovable and work well within the creative and relevant storyline. In addition, author Lewitas does a fantastic job of maintaining the continuity of the characters and storyline from her previous books. I highly recommend An Army of Noses; it is a read not only for animal lovers but for mystery lovers as well.
