Set in the beautiful country of Ireland, the Athy family were the predominate clan of the tribes of Galway, some of the very first to settle on the Emerald Isle. Documentation dating all the way back to the ninth century is presented in Secrets of the Nire and tells the story of the rightful “royal family of the Celtic Isles (the true name of the British Isles). William Thomas Athy, the rightful king of the Celtic Isles, will ascend to the throne, but not without facing the entire country of Great Britain and most of the world as his foe. William, although reluctant, finally accepts his mantle and is surrounded by the ancient order of the Knights of Solomon’s Temple, as well as the thirteen tribes of Galway. Numbering in the millions, both ancient orders are called to protect their sovereign by any means necessary and to do whatever it takes to see him seated on the throne. About the Author
Born, Robin Anne Johnston to Tom and Elaine Johnston from Santa Rosa, California, Anne took the pen name ‘Anne Athy’ for obvious reasons. Athy was her grandmother’s maiden name and the name of the family in which her novel is based. After the death of her mother, Anne’s brother presented her with a small, black binder filled with a plethora of information pertaining to the Athy Family heritage. Dating as far back as the tenth century, Clan Athy was one of the original members of the Fourteen Tribes of Galway. From the rich heritage and awe-inspiring pages of that small, black binder comes the unforgettable story of the Athy Family, past and present.

Anne Athy is a musician, songwriter, vocalist and now, novelist. Raised by her WWII Veteran/Policeman father and her ‘Rosie The Riveter’ mother who worked in Oakland, California for the WWII cause, Anne had a wonderful childhood, filled with stories of wartime, family heritage on both sides and interesting tales of an Irish Clan that piqued her interest in genealogy. But she had no idea just how interesting that heritage was until she read about the Athy Family in that little, black binder. Anne is married to a retired military man and resides on the Southern Oregon Coast. She is the mother of three adult children and grandmother to five. She is active as a worship leader in her church, where she currently serves, playing guitar, singing and song writing.  She retired from teaching music in 2009.
