Betroth: Covenanted, Unbreakable, and Everlasting Love by author Leslie J. Drummond is a Christian handbook which has been written to exhort, inspire, and motivate readers to become sufficiently acquainted with God through prayer and His Word.

The title of this book borrows heavily from the author’s experience with the Holy Spirit back on December 31st, 1968, where the tangible presence of the Lord covered her in a moment, triggering in her a lasting feeling of His unconditional love as well as an intense zeal for a deeper relationship with Him. An intimate relationship was born, and shortly after, she discovered her newly found, elevated status as the Lord’s betrothed. Readers will encounter several heartfelt poems which illustrate her idea of God’s most sincere feelings towards his beloved, as well as a selection of model prayers that believers can borrow from to continually and easily express their commitment, devotion, and adoration to Him.

The charge scripture has been borrowed from Hosea 2:19–20. The excerpt sets sail for an exciting reading experience which poses thought-provoking questions such as how well believers conduct their lives as proof of the fact that they are betrothed to the Saviour, Jesus Christ. Author Leslie has found out that growing in a personal relationship with God has been the best decision of her life. Its deeply enriching insight may lead some of them to initiate Bible study sessions to fully apprehend the depth of His love.
