Is your child different in many ways from other children? Does your child seem to have knowledge which was impossible to have learned, but must have been born with it? And would you say your child’s behavior has characteristics such as a short attention span, or is hyper-emotional, or extremely sensitive?

If yes to any of these questions, author Moana Leanne Kirikino writes that your child isn’t “broken” but is rather showing a frequency of human intelligence in an evolutionary aspect of enhancing our world, and she defines these children as “Starseeds.”

Not mentioned in the book, but I think about the life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and the time when the king’s musical director and Mozart’s adversary Salieri looks at the written score by Mozart done without any erasures or edits and comments “It is like he was taking dictation from the gods.” This is an example of the power of Starseed children. They have instinctual abilities beyond all other children with an almost supernatural tap into other intelligences outside of our physics and comprehension.

How parents recognize and nurture their Starseed children is what Kirikino’s book outlines and explains. I have found her insights as to methodology of handling these gifted children branch into a realm of privileges opportunities with a conclusion that Starseed children most often, if not always, are the creation of being conceived by Starseed parents. The child chooses their parents as do the parents choose their child at a time of conception, prior to birth. This gives readers quite a bit of philosophical fader to ponder.

Although a brief book, the galley text format is ideally laid out to bring highlights out clearly to the readers. It repeats, for a clear understanding, the traits of these exemplary children. What some people consider disorders and should be treated medically or with therapy, Moana Leanne Kirikino professes quite the opposite; they should be treated with the utmost respect and love and nurtured to have each of them achieve their full potential. By doing this our world will become a better place.
