from every story the authors write about, reflecting on personal experiences and life in
general. Cecilia Tetteh & King Tetteh are superb authors whose writing is not only
stirring, but also reassuring. ‘Talitha Cumi: Near Death Is an easy book to follow. The
chapters are gracefully arranged, and the stories flow seamlessly. The Tettehs wrote
this book for readers who are struggling, those that have given up hope, and readers
who are looking for spiritual nourishment. Talitha Cumi: Near Death is like a book with
everything under one roof; Interesting stories, helpful life tips, and the word of God.

Talitha Cumi: Near Death has 5 chapters, with each chapter consisting of crucial life
lessons. The first chapter is as gripping as I expected. We read Cecilia’s narrative,
which is about an assault. Cecilia was a family nurse practitioner. She narrates how a
patient had attacked her unprovoked. While reading the chapter, you can feel the
punches and the kicks through the text. Cecilia writes impeccably, making the reader
follow the tales with ease. The chapter on the assault could be triggering for some
readers, but the style of writing made the reading a fascinating experience.

The book becomes intense as you flip more pages. Apart from Cecilia, the reader also
follows the story of Pastor King. This wonderful couple in Talitha Cumi: Near Death is
proof there is a higher power that watches over us. Pastor King and First Lady Cecilia
go through the most tragic events including psychological abuse, regular tragedies,
physical exhaustion, loss, mental drain and even spiritual downfalls. With everything
happening, however, pastor King and Cecilia never gave up. From their encounter, the

the word of God and prudent advice. One of my favorite things about this book is the
numerous Bible verses shared across the pages. There is a Bible scripture with every
story, lesson, or encounter which the authors share. Readers who appreciate religious
literature will find this book helpful, especially regarding matters of spiritual nourishment.
Why do certain things happen in life? How do you prevent negative experiences? How
do you stop bad occurrences? How to connect with God? How about connection with
other beings, even those that wrong us? You will find answers to these and other
questions that bother believers. Talitha Cumi: Near Death is the book you did not know
you needed until you read the first chapter. The text will not only give you fulfillment, but
