Some even assert they receive messages from the Spirit that are not found in the Bible, a great misconception among Christian believers. In The Holy Spirit Calling: A 40-Year Journey With The Holy Spirit, author A.L. Istener tackles these issues and invites readers into an intimate journey and a deeper closeness with the Spirit of God through a compilation of inspired words.

Written in plural form, this heartwarming collection assures its readers of God’s heartwarming presence among us, as it explores overarching themes which are rarely discussed in other Christian texts. The compilation was written over a period of forty years, with the author dating each Word from the time she began writing them. Across these compelling jewels, God’s love for mankind shines as He addresses mankind as His children. The author writes skillfully, applying a conversational style of writing, different from the journalistic style that many books of this genre tend to use and which often wade off many readers.
